Stephanie (Jerrika Hinton) then decides to come to her aid by saying that she forgot to inform Bailey that his parents had withdrawn their consent.Her lie works, and the lawsuit gets dropped. Amy, who is constantly crying, tells Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) that she's upset because she loves Grey Sloan more than her boyfriend, James. Cristina then begs Owen not to offer her the job, so he doesn't. He says he knows that nothing good can come out of asking her to stay. Callie (Sara Ramirez) then learns she can't carry another baby because of her car accident. Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) says she can carry it, but Callie decides not to take such a big step so soon after getting their marriage back on track.
