In a new promo for the episode, titled Fear (of the Unknown), April Kepner takes centre stage as she tells her boss about her newly discovered pregnancy. She explains: Im pregnant. I know its sudden and its soon and I know it makes your life hell but I will work until it falls out of me. Kepners are built to have babies sir, we drop them in fields. Hunt reacts well to the news and tells the surgeon: Kepner I am happy for you. Im thrilled. Congratulations. She adds: It was earlier than we thought but my mom always says if you wait for the perfect time to have a baby then youll just die childless. However as shes coming to the end of her announcement, a TV set draws Owens attention away and on it is a news broadcast, reporting a massive explosion at a local mall, with a large number of fatalities. The doctors spring into action, clearing the ER and and ORs, however its the last line from the newsreader that caught our attention, in which she speculated that the explosion may have been an act of terrorism.
